The goal of the series is to entertain, inspire, and educate.

I first envisioned a free e-book mystery series for the internet several years ago. At that time a close friend of mine had just been diagnosed with Type II diabetes and was confronting huge health and lifestyle changes if his disease was to be brought under control.

He suggested that I make Betty a newly diagnosed diabetic and explore the issue of health in a person’s life and how one deals with it. I thought that was a fantastic idea. I hope you, our readers, think so too.
